There's once in a lifetime trips and then there's this: a 2 week trek led by Jamling Tenzing to the Himalayas' most spectacular natural and spiritual landmarks.
Through stunning mountain valleys and national parks, we'll trek to Everest Basecamp (5,150m)
Along with other spiritual sites, we'll spend some time meditating with Tibetan monks
Offering unparalleled views, even for a Himalayan summit, we'll climb Lobuche East (6,199m)
Alongside local charities, we'll brainstorm how we can improve the local ecosystem
A veteran of the Himalayas, sumiteer of Mt. Everest, and son of legendary Sherpa Tenzing Norgay (as well as a partner in our business), Jamling Tenzing Norgay will lead the group in 2020.
Summiting a Himalayan peak can still be an incredibly rewarding challenge if done the right way. We've chosen to climb Lobuche East (6,119m), a less technically demanding peak, that offers quieter slopes and arguably the best views of any mountain in the World; with incredible vistas of the surrounding region and Tibet with Everest looming nearby.
Part of the inspiration behind TENZING came while we visited this region of Nepal famed for its spiritual feel and steeped in tradition. For the Trek, we're going back to where it all started. We'll be spending acclimatisation days meditating with local monks, and visiting the legendary temples frequented by Sherpas, Tenzing Norgay included, before they attempt to summit Everest.
We take our ingredients from nature, so it's only right we give back. On the trek, we'll be contributing to the work we've already started with the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC) to help tackle litter in the Himalayas.
It's not a technically demanding Trek, but you will need to be in good physical shape. That means you're comfortable hiking around 16km on consecutive days, and can deal with higher altitudes.

Led by Jamling Tenzing, son of legendary Sherpa Tenzing and one of the first two men to summit Everest, this Trek is unique. It's not just a trek to Everest Basecamp and a climb of Lobuche East, we'll be having guided days of meditation with monks in the spiritual epicentre of the region, and brainstorming with the main local charities about plans to help improve the local ecosystem.
We'll be going from warmer, forested valleys, to -20°c at the peak of Lobuche. So, while we'll provide some of the climbing and camping equipment, you'll need to bring some things like sleeping bags. Request a call back to find out more about what will, and won't be provided.
We'll be going April 16th-2nd May 2020.
Numbers haven't been finalised yet, but, it'll be somewhere between 6-16 trekkers, not including guides and Sherpas.
